Hello Ladies,
This is my 2nd week of joining in with Chrissie from Chrissies Crafts and
Marianne from Ladybird Diaries,
with their Bloomin Crochet-A-Long.
I have finally finished all my Maybelle Flower squares for my blanket.
Next is putting it altogether, I did have ago at doing the join as you go
method, by my method didn't look very good at all, so I think I will try and
join them together
with a DC join.
Hopefully this time next week I would have joined them all up and be
starting to think what to do about a
border.
Hope your all having fun with your Crochet-A-Long.
Take care

This is sooooo pretty. I love those jewel tones, especially for Fall (it is Fall where I live). ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you :) it's Fall here too and your right they are a good colour choice for fall. It wasn't intentional, but I thought they just looked good together.

Thanks Gill, they actually don't take that long to make. I was very surprised myself how quickly they grew, but it is only a lap blanket not a full size one.
ReplyDeleteYay for joining CAL too, I'm enjoying sharing how much I've done each week.

Such a lovely pattern. Where did you get it from please?
ReplyDeleteThank you. I got the pattern from a lovely lady called Annette, her blog is called. "My Rose Valley" and the motif is called "Maybelle Flower". Such a easy one to do but I think looks so pretty when finished.
